Elmo Arimurti is a Senior on the Green Hope varsity baseball team. He started his Green Hope career playing JV his Freshman and Sophomore year, then went on to make the Varsity team his Junior and Senior year. Elmo is a right-handed pitcher, who plays a little bit of third base as well. Arimurti has put in a ton of work not only on the field, but also in the classroom, as he is a great student with great grades. Elmo will be going on to play for the Barton Bulldogs as he will be looking to make an impact his first year on campus.

1.When did you begin playing baseball?
“When I was 4 years old.”

2. What was the most memorable moment in your high school career?
When i was pitching in the NHSI championship in my Junior year

3. What inspired you or pushed you to pursue baseball at the collegiate level?
“The opportunity to play at the next level, and I want to play for as long as I can.”

4. What schools were you considering during your recruitment process?
“Barton, Dominican University, Lenoir Rhyne”

5. What made Barton stand out?
“The campus was really nice and the different classes that they have.”

6. Who was the most impactful person throughout your youth athletic career?
“My dad, he has paid for a lot of things to help me along my journey such as camps equipment, and has been motivation for me too”

7. What major do you plan on pursuing?
“Sports management.”
