Spring Sports are nearing the end of their regular seasons and playoffs are right around the corner. Many students have summer on their minds as well as we have made it through Spring Break. Let us recap how all of our teams performed.

Baseball: The Falcons played two games against Tri-6 leaders Durham Jordan in a home and home series. Green Hope dropped the first competition in a long, extra-inning competition. Losing by a score of 4-3. The team then traveled out to Durham and beat the other Falcons 4-3 in another very close competition. Green Hope takes the field again Wednesday away at Leesville.

Men’s Lacrosse: After a slow start to their season, the Men’s Lacrosse team won two of their three games last week. The Falcons beat both Cary (on their Senior Night) and Riverside. Green Hope lost to the conference champion Durham Jordan. The team has officially concluded their season.

Women’s Lacrosse: Three games last week ended up for three wins for the Lady Falcons. They faced off against Cary, Riverside, and Jordan. As well, the team had their senior night in their competition against Jordan. Lacrosse is waiting to see if their playoff hopes are still alive.

Softball: The Softball team played Jordan twice last week as well, and won both competitions. Their first game was the senior night and the second was away in Durham. Green Hope has one more regular season competition this Friday at Leesville.

Women’s Soccer: The Lady Falcons played twice last week. The first was against Riverside where they won 4-2. Green Hope then had their Senior Night the following day against Apex Friendship where they lost to the Patriots. Their next competition is today at Jordan.
