Take out the leftover Halloween candy to celebrate today, National Candy Day! Enjoy those sugary sweets whether it be Reese’s, Skittles, Twizzlers, or any of the other delicious candy option. Today is the day to munch.

November 5 – National Redhead Day

Whether your naturally ginger or want to take this national day as an opportunity to dye your hair, we can all celebrate today. Appreciate the gingers around you, or yourself, if you are a redhead. Red hair is rare, so now is the time to support this trait in others before it completely dies out.

November 7 – National Bittersweet Chocolate With Almonds Day

This day, though very specific, can be enjoyed by all (unless you are allergic, sorry). The exquisite pairing of chocolate and almonds gives the treat just the right amount of sweetness and crunch, so make sure to celebrate today with some Bittersweet Chocolate with Almonds.

STEAM stands for science, technology, engineering, art, and math. Celebrate your STEAM skills by paying extra attention in your classes or by joining some more educational extracurriculars or clubs. Appreciate teachers that are helping you gain STEAM skills and celebrate your achievements.

November 9 – National Go to an Art Museum Day

Make sure to participate in this national day! Go to one of the great art museums in North Carolina and enjoy the unique pieces and displays. It is a great break from the stress of life to go and admire some beautiful artwork.
