The Green Hope Falcon

Uma Bhat, Editor-in-Chief

Uma Bhat is a senior at Green Hope and this will be her 3rd year on the Green Hope Falcon. Her favorite part about the class is the freedom of structure and wants to major in journalism. In 10 years, she hopes to have David Muir’s job as an ABC travelling news anchor. She is originally from Washington D.C. and moved to Cary in 2010. Along with being Co-editor in Chief of the Green Hope Falcon, Uma is also involved with Model U.N. at school. In her free time, she loves writing for fun and running while listening to EDM music. Over quarantine, she has gotten into watching figure skating videos and attended an USA Today journalism program with other teenagers in the country. After the pandemic is over, Uma hopes to travel throughout Latin America, but needs to learn Spanish first even though she is taking French classes at Green Hope. Since the Starbucks here in Cary don’t compare to the ones in D.C., Uma’s favorite place to grab a cup of coffee is at Crema Coffee and because it has the best ambiance.
